Beyond

Let me lie in the realm beyond dreams
trying to grasp peace!
Hoping for better tomorrows.

All that is left now are memories,
memories of a beautiful dream.
Now awake in the surreal,
Some dreams must end, falling to reality

Whatever though, it was so beautiful

May it all begin again!

            It all started one dark and stormy night.  Funny how these sorts of things always start like that!  I was sitting alone in my favorite corner of my parent’s coffee Shoppe.  My life had taken a turn for the worse so I for now am back home with mom and dad.  At age 30 this is a little embarrassing but that is how life goes.  As for how I got here let’s just say a few bad decisions and a girl were involved, end of commentary!  This place is not my home town but it will due for now.  When I moved out they sold their home and moved here to start over.  Before I graduated high school and thought about what to do next we suffered a terrible tragedy.   I had a sister we were in fact twins.

“Who was that...?  Well I suppose it does not matter.”  The room was dank and firmly lit the only light source seemed to emanate from a series of tubes with what could only be described as fetuses.  A man stood over a table with a naked woman strapped to it.  Her breasts heaved violently as she drew terrified breaths.  The deranged fellow had used charcoal to draw dissection lines.  Earlier that night he had been chased by a young man.
A young man that was more agile than a human should have been in his opinion.  “Smile at babies!” His scream echoed as he yanked the young woman’s red hair from her head.  She could only let out muffled screams with her mouth sewn shut.  The cross shaped stiches went up on to her face creating a flower of life pattern over her face.             All I remember is a cacophony of noise, crunching metal, crackling glass and then the sky so blue and endless.  Looming over me was a shadow, the silhouette of a beautiful woman.  She had long elegant features, skin as pale as moonlight.  Her long raven hair was blacker and darker than the deepest night.   Her piercing eyes glimmered like starlight.  She was…she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen!  For some reason the world looked a little off in comparison to her.
