Moonlit Waltz
May I have this dance?
Moon beams sway through the
shadows.
A gentle breeze kisses the
reeds.
Staring into her hesitant
eyes,
Her hand took mine.
As she stood I whispered,
come dance in the moonlight
with me.
The brook babbles by as an owl
swoops low.
Letting loose the first note,
Soon the wolves chime in, the
woodwinds of the night.
Storm clouds in the distance
provide the bass.
One, two, three and one, two,
three.
We spin through the night.
